About
Zogdo is about invention, progress, and the pursuit of perfection.
Invention: The primary goal of this site is to showcase those inventions that came after their time. If paper airplanes had been invented 3500 years ago with the invention of paper, rather than a hundred years ago, history may have gone very differently. Think back to any period in history and you should be able to come up with a long list of things you could make with the tools of the time, but which were not invented until much later. It isn’t my intention to have a historical site however, I am showcasing those things that are just being thought of today, that had anyone else thought of them, would have been invented long ago, and that once the idea is out makes the invention inevitable.
Progress: Very few things irritate me as much as when people stand in the way of progress, or when a tool is poorly designed. I will also be showcasing those innovations that make an existing object better.
Perfection: Every once in a while, both in natural evolution, and in our intelligent designs, as an invention progresses, it reaches a point at which it cannot significantly be improved. This is worth of celebration.
